A Smart dimmer is a dimmer that works together with your smart home system. With such systems, multiple smart devices and lights can be connected wirelessly and controlled remotely via, for example, an app on a mobile phone. Smart dimmers come in many shapes and sizes, and almost every type of dimmer has a smart variant.
